and....... why would i do this when i am TRYING to renovate my house?

I know surfing youtube all day is fun..

but i have two floors to sand entirely, i can't watch videos all day. about half the fixtures have to be replaced, and i am terrible with wiring.

not a "good" idea for me to "do" the "wiring" myself....................................................................................................

and.... why would I do this if I am TRYING to get people to submit video VIA my site?

I know linking to Youtube is the new blogging..

But, again, if I am soliciting video to MY SITE (via a tool on my site) why would I then confuse everyone and say "ah, ha, look at Youtube" (which only gives people a chance to upload their video there?)

in theory people can get "upload crazy" and do it twice, but c'mon, even I don't believe people will do it twice...

why not at LEAST try to harness people to upload video to YOUR site first?

if you don't have the capability, then MAYBE, MAYBE I'd consider doing this.. but would view it suspiciously...

not a "smart" idea...

of course, I am not a professional consultant -- I've only done web news (as a front line manager) for 11 years and am a professional worker

what do I know? nothing.. I don't charge enough
