ESPN to stream its NBA games live online
Cory Bergman October 31st, 2007
Every NBA game broadcast on ESPN and ESPN2 will be streamed live on ESPN360.com, which is available for free for people who subscribe to a participating broadband service (Verizon). Of course, this raises questions for cable operators who are paying big fees to ESPN for content that now in part is simulcast on the internet. But ESPN is ESPN, and the sports network carries a ton of leverage in cable negotiations.

This would be a lot more exciting if anyone could see ESPN360.
Given how few people have “participating” services, it’s not exciting at all.

David Stern should’ve been fired a long time ago.
The playoffs are interminably long and the first rounds
very boring. Go back to the best of five like it was before.
Also, Stern has no business coming to Sacramento
pushing an arena that the public doesn’t want to pay
for. Stern, retire and enough of you….
