Poynter’s Libin hired at WCCO

Scott Libin is moving from sunny St. Petersburg to the Twin Cities to become news director of WCCO. Libin has been the managing director of Poynter Online, and a few years ago he was news director at WCCO-rival KSTP.

People internally are excited about the move. I wonder if it means that Al will now be running our morning meetings?

Didn’t he learn his lesson the first time? Oh, well, at least this time, Robby Hubbard and Brenty Magid are across the street, or over in St. Paul as it were.
