		<description>Let's look at what's really going on here (combine this with last week's Business Week story about "the rise of professional video") ... YouTube owns the online video market.  There isn't even a serious #2 competitor.

YouTube owns the UGC video market.

So what can all of the competitors scrambling to be #2 do to differentiate and compete: Proclaim the end of UGC, that professionally derived content is the future, and that's where they're going.

It's the only smart thing for them to do, because they have no hope of beating YT at the UGC game.

It's really a gambit.  If they're right, one of them might emerge as a legitimate #2, if not eventually emerge as #1 (if they're really, really right); if not, most of them will go out of business, just as they would have without the change in "thinking."</description>
