I'm working on figuring out what shows to cover for a TV blog I'm going to write for my college's newspaper, and I am actually suprised by how much original programming there is for winter. There are definately many more reality and game programs than fall, but there's still a good number of scripted programs to choose from, too. Enough to lose plenty of homework time to, at any rate. Make no mistake, it was full of horrible people, no doubt. But its bizarre insights into what people will do just to get on TV and win money make it one of the most underrated programs in TV history.
