Leno delivers monologue without writers

Cory Bergman January 3rd, 2008

Amazing, Leno can write his own jokes! And the WGA is trying to stop him. I don’t know about you, but this strike is just getting plain silly.

Leno did perform comedy in front of live audiences for years before he got the Tonight Show gig

So? He’s a WGA member. He’s breaking ranks with the union. Pretty obvious why the WGA would go after him.

Speaking of madness, nbody remember the old Cold War fear of Mutally Assured Destruction?

    This strike is MAD 2.0.

    No winners.

    Ever.

    Hi,

There’ll be lots of winners, and with time their quality will only improve:

    Go to Youtube et al.

And the great thing with the internet and “dis-intermediation” is that advertisers and any other closed/vested-interest loses their absolute power.

The writers are kinda making the point themselves, with those oh-so-witty short writer-less sketches.

    Yours kindly,

    Shakir Razak
