I just got back from Vegas this weekend. I do not gamble, but everything there is a huge rip off. Food, drinks, events, hotel rooms, everything. Also, the employees of the hotels have a huge sense of entitlement. I am an excellent tipper, yet many of the employees have a serious attitude problem - especially the bartenders. Next time, I will just go to Cancun.

What kind of idiot made the comment about "vendors" (peanut "vendors"?) not having a problem picking up" the tabs"???~!!!

It's NOT the "vendors" -- it's the attendees that are paying to SUPPORT the "vendors". It's become TOO EXPENSIVE for the CUSTOMERS of the "vendors".

Why don't they come to NY? They never jack up their oh so reasonable rates during peak seasons.

What's next, colleges will start calling out hotels for charging more during graduation weekend? Plus if people are really on a budget, they don't have to stay at the Wynn.

Tourism is the life blood of this city. If vendors like Intel, Qualcomm, Microsoft, and LG are going to continue to come in and set up million dollar booths then I'm sure picking up the tab on rooms isn't a problem.

Also, Everything is expensive in Las Vegas except Fremont St.

I personally would love them to relocate to Denver Colorado, it's pretty central, has a great airport and they have been doing a lot to increase the local convention facilities.

Same at NAB. Used to be you could get pretty decent
rates but not anymore. Unfortunately there is no where
else to go. 1.7 million square feet of exhibitor space,
all in one location? Where else but Vegas?
