i agree. this IS NOT a big win for local publishers. 

the short term upside: this certainly allows for a local media site to have a quick and easy video publishing system, as well as national sales representation.

downside: it allows the local media publisher to become lazy about dealing with video. it also allows an outsider to take a big chunk of locally directed revenue...out of the market.</description>
