This ad campaign was on the NY Times home page one day a week ago. We thought it was so cool everyone kept refreshing the page to watch it over and over.

It's also been on NYTimes.com. I think it ran on NYTimes during MacWorld. I'm not big on all the crazy, blinking, flying intrusive banner ads of our day, but this one is inspired. It accomplishes what it needs to without disrupting your online experience. Very cool.

This was on CNN Money earlier this week (or last - I'm not sure)- while a co-worker and I were trying to reason how this 'recession' applied to us (seeing as we make next to nil (at least for NYC) - I noticed "PC" climbing above the 'fold' - actually kind of freaked me out - I wasn't expecting that (especially with the sound off).

Very captivating - and even though I'm somewhat of a 'patron of the Mac Arts' it was definitely something fresh and invigorating - it's nice to see the banner ad isn't completely dead - although I have to admit that up until this past week or last, I probably hadn't 'truly' paid attention to a banner ad for that long (unless they blocked by screen for fifteen seconds - while I cursed the advertiser and swore to boycott that company at all costs for at least the next sixth months).
