  does this thing (hulu) seem like some sort of bad soap opera?

  what the hell is taking so long?

  while nbcu farts around with press releases and “hundreds OR thousands” of users, folks like myoutdoortvdotcom are putting up, selling ads and looking pretty darn good.

  if you’re a cabella’s type, then check ‘em out.

  yes, advertising is content.

  I have already had my hulu account since maybe the first part of December. I watch it regulary - much better quality than any of the nbc.com or abc.com players. It’s easy to use and helps me keep up on Simpsons and King of the Hill.

  Suddenly yesterday, my password to Hulu quit working and though I can use their “forgot” to reset the password, it doesn’t take and the only way that I’ve been able to get in is through the “forgot”.

  Is anyone else experiencing something similar, or am I alone?

  I had that same problem with Hulu as well. I did the “forgot” option and was able to get back on that way. It was very weird.

  Also weird? This laptop, which only I use, had the name “steve” put in for the comment form on this site. How odd.

  Charles - When I do the “forgot”, it lets me in, but then if I go back out, it won’t let me in again. I don’t know if you’re experiencing the exact same thing, but I’ve even tried going in through the “forgot” and then after I’m in, I g’ve gone to the profile and have tried to change my password again, but it fails to validate the password that I just used.

  I’m glad that I’m not alone, but it is kind of neat that they made an announcement about ending the beta on the same day that my password (which I use pretty much daily) fails to work.

  I’ve been using Hulu since November and besides the “stuttering during some commercials” which seems to be fixed now.. I have no problem signing in or viewing videos.

  Mine did somehow get fixed yesterday, so maybe I was being affected by the changes that they made on the 25th or something else was up. But, last night, it started working again and I stopped having problems logging-in.

  I’ve been waiting since December for my invitation to Hulu and still haven’t gotten anything… what the hell is taking so long?! Did they forget about me? (I entered my email addresses again, just to make sure they didn’t!)
