HD low priority for reality shows

So why are so few reality shows produced in high-def? The cost, of course.

For my story tonight I had the pleasure of asking my GM why our station isn’t doing news in HD. Same answer as reality shows.

Too much money squeezing four channels into one space and hoping it flies. Who wants High Definition?
They’ve kicked that term around since the Nazis had a station in Berlin.
