		<description>I think the era has passed that any major television network could still "alter an American cultural cycle".  NBC still has an audience, to be sure, but ratings for all the majors have been in steady decline for years.  First it was the cable channels that started drawing away viewers, and now the action is all online.  Who under 30 still watches TV the old-fashioned way anymore?

On a related note, I wonder what new car models the Studebaker Corporation will introduce this year...</description>
