I think the lackluster ratings have more to do with the choices the Academy made this year in all the major nominations, recognizing movies many potential viewers never heard of, let alone saw. Last year had Dreamgirls, The Departed, Little Miss Sunshine, films like that. This year, we had There Will Be No Blood For Old Men's Oil or something like that. I know that wasn't the real title, just being facetious. I doubt anybody will remember everything that won this year. Just saying. I agree with you, Cory.
