Fox News ad on Facebook
Don Day March 2nd, 2008
Fox News is running an ad campaign on Facebook, with a video promo for this Tuesday’s election coverage. The ad in the News Feed says “Tune-in as America’s election HQ, Fox News, brings you first, fair and accurate information as the results come in” — then when you click the play button, you get a full :15 promo. Pretty smart…

Except that 90%+ of the young people I know cannot stand Fox News. A couple of us were laughing at the Fox News ads on Facebook the other day, actually. “Fair and balanced. Right. We’ll get right on that.”

Oh great, Don. Now the CIA and Homeland Security know that I’m reading “Legacy of Ashes,” which basically chronicles their ineptitude since day one. Next stop for Stevie: Abu Ghraib.
If I disappear, promise you’ll remember me as a drain on society.

Yes, Trip you are right. Research on Millenials clearly shows that they only want to consume media/interact with those who reinforce what they already believe.

Haha. I didn’t even notice that. We could start a new LR feature: The Library of Steve Safran.
