The story behind Quarterlife
Cory Bergman March 3rd, 2008
The web show cratered on NBC and is moving to Bravo. But should shows like these migrate to TV at all? TV Week has the interesting backstory of how Quarterlife was shot for less than half of a traditional TV budget. Maybe THAT’S what should migrate to TV.

If it had a plot, the Bush administration would’ve hired it. WHIIIINEY to the max, especially the car ad spot. I don’t even think teenagers cared for the let’s get the hottie sales gal in the ad and fight over her part. Spike TV wouldn’t even call these writers back. Nice to see NBC back in 1979 again.

okay, i watched this on NBC and decided to finish all of the episodes on myspace. i didn’t think it was all that bad. sure the writing could be less dawson’s creeky, but the problems the pretty white kids have are honestly the exact same things i’ve faced over the past few years.
of course, now that i’m caught up online, i’m not going to watch it on bravo. sorry nbc-uni!
and for complete irony…my boyfriend danny was cheating on me. i think i’m supposed to move to NOLA now. seriously.
