With the exception of artist like Kanye West and Justin Timberlake, music sales have been down for many artist in music. Janet Jackson recently released her album only about 4 weeks ago and she only sold in the 170k range 1st week, and she has slipped to below 25k sales weekly after only 4 weeks. In her prime her sales were much higher then that. Targeting the myspace audience will help them reach a wider audience and that could potntially lead to more sales. I think this is a good idea.
