Lots of their video already comes from affiliates, and I wonder if there would be embargo issues if network wanted to use CNN video in the evening news. If they didn't stand by in-market embargoes, would the affiliates keep sending CNN video, knowing it could end up on the CBS evening news? I wonder how many people this actually would affect. First, rid the once proud CBS Evening News of the complete and utter fake, Katie Couric. There is, what, $12 million or more saved annually right there. Well, maybe not. Her astute agent probably has her locked into a golden parachute either way. Katie makes the fourth hour of the present Today Show bearable. As for Les Moonves's squeeze, Julie Chen, how can anyone take her serious. I am serious. She can't even read news copy that someone else has written for her. She also cannot conduct an interview.
