Grass Valley automates web video

In an announcement here at NAB-RTNDA, Thompson Grass Valley took the wraps off a new product called MediaFuse that automates the process of posting video clips of news stories online. The product is an extension of Ignite, its automated news production system, and it extracts individual stories from newscasts and encodes them for the web. Grass Valley also announced it has teamed up with WorldNow to automatically funnel these clips into WorldNow’s video content management system.
