News Directors looking for jobs at RTNDA and NAB is not news. The shows have ALWAYS been THE place to “shop your resume” and have meetings.
Another tidbit, up-and-coming television newspeople LOVE to get a job in Las Vegas. You can bet they are putting on their best shows while potential larger-market employers are watching.
