    So THAT’S where Billy Idol’s been all these years…learning to ride a Segway.

    Bob Dotson’s a class act, too.

    i recently witnessed a guy who mounted a camera to a remote control miniture plane or helicopter. he sent it up and got amazingly good footage of his lakeside home and property.

    made me wonder how long expensive “chopper(insertdialpositionhere)” has before being cut out of the budget.

    Buy a surplus Air Force Predator drone off e-Bay and hire an ex-USAF tech sgt to run the thing for you. And if it’s armed with Hellfires, you can truly blow away the competition.

    Saw a guy do that with an RC chopper about five years ago. I asked a police chief about it, and he said “If it’s low enough over an active scene, I’d have it shot out of the air with a beanbag round.”

    I think I’ll stick to JetRangers, thanks. But a Predator would be nice. No pilot to pay or wake up at 3 a.m.

    @tdc

    A cop told me that they are called pastries now so they can have more than just stale donuts. So make that a drop of assorted fresh pastries from the nearest bakery.

    The Steadicam-Segway rig (Handsfree-Transporter) looks like something out of a science fiction movie.
