People are starting to say there are too many debates. You can't have too many debates in a Democracy. There's too much crap. These aren't debates at all. They are Q&A sessions, b*tch fests, and soundbite generator machines.

The candidates have set the expectations so low, by refusing to actually debate or answer tough questions... is it any wonder we're reduced to asking them nonsense?

These aren't debates. These are part of the 2008 reality show "Who Wants To Default To Becoming President?" And, frankly, the show sucks.

I had to turn it off about 75 mins in (no, not in disgust, had something else to do).

Did they really start cutting off Obama's answers when they got to actual policy because of time spent talking about, well, "non-policy?"

It was good to read others comments that your Q@A of the candidates was tabloid Gotcha and not what I had hoped to hear. experience is not unimportant. I. I do not want this green Barack when there is so much to be repaired after Bush, Yoo, war, economy, the demise of the middle class, the demise of education in this country. We need experience. She has some well thought out plans and he looked like he was fumbling for his play book. I also wonder who his power brokers are. Resko looks like the tip of the iceberg behind Obama. The opportunist had to promise what? Where is any investigative reporting?
