i don’t know how much REAL hair(silver or otherwise) this icon of detroit tv has left, but if they had this guy hosting the crowds would be enormous.

it almost sounds like this station is creating an in-depth, story heavy morning show for retirees. my only question is how would that be fast-paced?

in most markets, morning shows are on a weather/traffic/fire-shootings wheel, but of course, that caters to the folks who are just trying to grab some info before leaving for the day.

i kinda wonder if this is the “old person” version of the “female demo” early evening shows that feature tons of health stories, etc. if so, this could be an interesting approach.

if it is catering to older people, it’d be WAY COOL to hire an older anchor, one with silver hair!

Personality driven? Is that really what people are looking for?? I come here for interesting news, but I certainly could care less about the people behind it.
