Mobil tv sounds pretty cool but at the same time who wants to watch tv on their phone? My phone can play movies but I've never played one on it what's the point? We have 3 laptops 2pc's 3tvs and 2lcd's why would I watch anything on my phone. It sounds like a cool idea but once you have it what's the point!

In technical trials, current battery technology appears to support about 2 hours of viewing.

I'd never be able to watch TV shows on my Centro. But I certainly wouldn't mind having better access to news, etc

That battery question is key, though.

"But lots of questions remain: Is there enough spectrum? How to monetize it? How many people will watch it?"

Forgot: How much will this drain my battery?

I have mobile TV with Sprint. My work pays for it and I still rarely use the TV service. The whole experience is subpar, from the device, small screen, terrible sound, etc.

re; OMVC/local broadcasters getting into mobile TV...you're right, there are a lot of questions, but whether there is enough spectrum is not one of them. There is. The technical trials have been very promising also, so the questions all revolve around trying to settle on a business model(s).
