And as Don points out, having the "power to make this mistake" just means it will happen again and again. There is no good that can possibly come from this technology. If you have a technology that, even when implemented exactly correctly, will piss off the most ardent fans of a given show (those most prone to record it), it's a bad technology. This will not work. Once you've lost me as a fan for a show, you've ruined any chances of having me watch "live," and giving the locals a lead-in. Show me a technology designed to block the audience, and I'll show you a technology that costs a ton of money and will fail regardless. Work with your audience instead of treating them like thieves.
