Saying WeatherPlus and Weather Channel can be combined is like saying a tiny blackfly can be combined with an elephant. After at least 3 years of existance now, WeatherPlus is conclusively an embarrassment...I suppose buying Weather Channel is a way to resurrect the "strategy" and save face, but I wonder where all the NBCUers whose rationale for WP in the beginning was based on the idea that "we can do it cheap and compete and beat WeatherChannel at their own game"? $4-5B ain't cheap, at least as I understand the word.

They can combine and constantly tell us how the wind blows on somebody's campaign and how much it will cost us in the long run.
