After the Games begin, the games will begin

The rights for the 2014 and 2016 Olympic Games will be up for bid soon – and ESPN and Fox are expected to jump in the bidding war, along with NBC. Digital rights will likely be a big part of the haggling this time. The 2008 Games will be the first to have live events streamed online. Also, NBC is 80% to its goal for the 08/08/08 Beijing games – and NBCU folks say they’ll likely break records.
