Digg rolling out ‘recommendation engine’

Cory Bergman July 1st, 2008

This might be cool. Digg has created a new feature — which debuts in beta later this week — that analyzes your past Digging activity to discover “Diggers like you.” You can see what they’re Digging, and by extension discover some of the most interesting stories from the 16,000 submitted every day.

I would think I really wouldn’t care what everyone else does. I don’t want to BE everyone else!

Remember that scene from “Idiocracy” where one character is watching a television show called “Owww! My BALLS!” ??

That’s pretty much Digg in a…nut….shell.
