Proof of the ‘Colbert Bump’

One minute after Stephen Colbert said on the air, “Firefox 3 just got the Colbert Bump,” downloads of the new versions spiked. You can even see subsequent spikes with the re-runs. (By the way, I love my FF 3 so much, I feel like mocking IE 7 users. But I don’t, obviously, for professional reasons.)

I don’t have cable, especially Viacom’s. I also left Netscape for IE5.5 after 4.78? because the Moz/AOL stuff stunk to high heaven. I see no alternatives.
Pity.
