I know that we, the loyal LR readers, like to drink the new media kool-aid, but people are laying down big cash for HD sets and finally getting that DVR they* always wanted. You bet your arse they're watching more television. 

*They; as in "the people you went to high school with and never spoke to again." Not to be confused with "us; the LR-reading new media types who are camping out in front of Mac stores for the 3G iPhone while commenting on blogs with their first gen model."</description>
