i thought the guy from nbc’s quote was precious- “every single provider of alternative measurement has disappointed us”.

what , no one but nielsen would cook the numbers in your favor?

I know that we, the loyal LR readers, like to drink the new media kool-aid, but people are laying down big cash for HD sets and finally getting that DVR they* always wanted. You bet your arse they’re watching more television.

*They; as in “the people you went to high school with and never spoke to again.” Not to be confused with “us; the LR-reading new media types who are camping out in front of Mac stores for the 3G iPhone while commenting on blogs with their first gen model.”
