Thanks, Rick and maybe if enough of us make noise...

I just know that I've migrated largely toward watching things online and for one reason or another, there's really no chance that I'll watch see some shows over-the-air.

Thankfully, it looks like ABC is expanding their line-up and Hulu has been a big success for NBCU and Fox, not to mention that a lot of the smaller networs/channels are also coming onboard. Hopefully, CBS will soon see the error of their ways because quite honestly, my life wouldn't end if I don't get to see all of their shows, but when I'm sitting around wanting to vegetate, it'd really be nice to have the option.

I wondered the same thing, and didn't get a real answer out of CBS when I asked.

I couldn't see any particular theme (ie studio, etc) which would explain why those particular shows aren't online.

I've heard rumors it has something to do with the Comcast On Demand deal, but can't confirm that.

Somewhat offtopic, but does anybody know what's up with CBS. Some shows which were available last season apparently aren't being put online this year. This seems like a major step backwards, especially considering that it looks like ABC and the other networks are expanding their offerings.

Yeah, but when you look at what he said, ABC's idea of "open" means making it easier to share and embed the video (albeit in very specific ways).

That is all a long way from being "open."

I'm going to develop an application that will play the shows backwards AND upside down - hopefully illuminating their true meaning.
