Bing Maps mashes neighborhood blog posts

Posted by Cory Bergman on December 9, 2009

Here at ILM 09, MSN’s Cyrus Krohn took the audience through a demo of Bing’s new neighborhood blog application, Local Lens, which is currently in beta. Hundreds of blogs in a dozen or so cities are mapped by neighborhood, or if there’s address information, by a specific location.

In the left pane, you can browse by headline and abstract. You can layer Tweets over the top, too. (To take a look at the new app, go here, click on the beta link, click the arrow at the bottom of the left pane, then select Local Lens.)
