Fresh off a round of funding, the US Local News Network — best known for the San Diego News Network, SDNN.com — will launch a site in Orange County in partnership with the Los Angeles Times Media Group, reports PaidContent. The LA Times owns a few weeklies in the Orange County area, and the content and ad partnership with USLNN will help both companies take on the struggling Orange County Register (its publisher is in bankruptcy.)
