You can now see what events are happening in your area right on Bing Maps, which is fresh out of beta. Microsoft has added a Local Events app to the map, and it’s powered by Zvents. Looking on a map pulls up a list of events on the left of the page and puts the corresponding pinpoints on the map:

Bing’s mapping “apps” also pull up weather, traffic, local attractions and many other items of interest — including noteworthy graffiti. You can also see “today’s front pages” from newspapers in whatever region you’ve zoomed into. We’re betting Bing Maps will add more local news as it goes along. (via TechCrunch)
Zvents is also available in Bing search: type “Denver events,” for example, and you’ll see a highlighted list of Denver events, hosted on Bing.

I'm trying to add an event to the Bing Map of my city (Ann Arbor). I've logged in and everything and it still seems impossible to place an event. Any idea how that all works?
