Yahoo users love clicking local links

Back in November, Yahoo hired Anthony Moor from Belo to head up an expanded local initiative. And on an earnings call this week, Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz said users are clicking local content at a rate much higher than average, “…a 200 percent click-through increase in the local part of the news. So that is really important especially as we focus on local.”

Bartz said Yahoo plans to offer “improved local content,” but she didn’t provide any details.

  1. Yahoo! users love to spam your discussions with dating spam, swear, call each other worse crap than usual and have the general viscosity of peanut butter in any places but Yahoogroups, where they must BEHAVE!

This is why I go DIRECTLY TO EMAIL AND MY GROUPS!

Yahoo is going to change their name to TOYOTANET perhaps?
