Google Maps and Street View on the iPad

One of the cooler applications of the larger screen on the iPad is browsing Google Maps with Street View. Here’s a demo of it in action:

It’s important to note that only the 3G version of the iPad will have built-in GPS (all versions have a compass), which will put you back $629 for the base model.

First time I heard someone voice a concern that popped into my head:
Are we going to see people driving while iPadding? If so, I wonder if that'll be more or less safe than a phone:
    - can't hold it with one hand, which means you'll need to drive with your knee
    - more stuff on screen to be distracted by
    - less need to squint at a tiny screen so less distraction there

    The most important one:
    - other drivers have a better chance of seeing that you're driving impaired and stay away from your car!

    Boy, that looks fragile.
