It’s good practice to update your passwords occasionally. Now there’s a good reason to do so, at least on your Twitter account. According to the Wall Street Journal “…an unidentified person had been creating so-called torrent sites and forums for ‘a number of years’ with the sole purpose of getting users to input user names and passwords the person could use to gain access to Twitter accounts.” Twitter says the number of people affected is “very small.” And you’re safe if you haven’t visited a Torrent site. But you can never be too careful. We encourage you to pass this story around your company/newsroom.
