The top brass at News Corp is definitely interested in having Conan O’Brien on their Fox Network if they can make the numbers work. At a press conference going over News Corp’s second quarter, Rupert Murdoch said he’s interested in the idea. According to CNN, CEO Murdoch said “Certainly if the program people can show us that we could do it, and be fairly confident of making a profit on it, we’d do it in a flash. But we’re giving it a lot of thought and a lot of examination.” COO and President Chase Carey added that there have been some conversations, but “no real negotiations.”

Conan belongs on Comedy Central right after Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert. I know he doesn’t want a mid-night time slot but its so perfect. he would have the perfect lead in's with both TDS and TCR. His humor matches perfectly and he would thrive. Comedy Central probably doesnt have the cash to pay him and I know he does not want a mid-night time slot but man what a perfect fit.
