The LR Three-Word Super Bowl Ad Reviews

Restarting a tradition from a while back, here are our reviews of the Super Bowl Ads. (And I’m not about to start with that “The Big Game” BS. It’s the Super Bowl.) We try to do things a little different around here. After all, you’ll be able to find lots of places where you can read reviews of the ads. However, Only Lost Remote gives you Three-Word Reviews. (Of course, I stole the idea from The Four Word Film Review, a fine site you should visit.) Check ‘em out, after the jump…

  1. I hurt to think of all those advertising types ( I am one) trying to make the faceless collective genius giggle or feel some other brain stimuli and act on it.
And here-here for not kowtowing and using The Big Game. Cool.

  5. A lot of people I know commented negatively on the Who, saying Roger's voice was a huge disappointment but the combination of the wicked lightshow and the drummer helped a lot.

I suspect that he had vocal trouble on par with that which could plague Rod Stewart, however Roger made the best he could as I would figure half the world expected to see the Who and it was too late to change the act.

I told them this and to go easy. One critic was harsh enough to suggest the duo simply RETIRE.

  16. The world can be changed by man's endeavor, and that this endeavor can lead to something new and better .No man can sever the bonds that unite him to his society simply by averting his eyes . He must ever be receptive and sensitive to the new ; and have sufficient courage and skill to novel facts and to deal with them .
