NFL suggests #SB44 hashtag, builds site around it

This is a very cool idea. The NFL is suggesting we use the hashtag #sb44 for our tweets. Normally, I wouldn’t pay much attention to what the No Fun League suggests, but they’ve taken the concept a step further and built a site that is showing off the #sb44 tweets and fan photos: nfl.com/sb44. This is a great idea, and one you should absolutely steal at your next major local event.

  • We totally did that last fall when the president came to town to visit Hudson Valley Community College. We encouraged the hashtag #ObamaHVCC and featured those tweets on our site and used selected tweets on air during our live coverage of his visit. It worked really well.
  • Thanks, Joakim. I've fixed it.
  • You have an extra s in the url to nfl.com*s*/sb44 - should be http://nfl.com/sb44
