Twitter Launches Resource Site for Media Companies

The more companies that find success on Twitter, the better it is for Twitter’s future. It benefits Twitter as an organization to support its users’ education on how best to leverage the platform. Whether that be in the form of case studies or a compilation of best practices, the entire Twitter ecosystem grows more fruitful as users gain more knowledge on the dynamics of micro-blogging. It’s the axiom that “a rising tide lifts all boats.”

To strengthen its platform through the enrichment of its users, Twitter has launched a new site called Twitter Media. It’s designed to help media organizations and journalists better connect with their fans. The site’s mission statement says it all: “Knowledge and tools to help you use Twitter to transform media, entertainment and journalism.”

Twitter Media’s foundation runs parallel to the company’s previously launched business portal. An offical Twitter Media account has also been established to “…track cool, meaningful uses of tweets in media and journalism.”
