Google TV has rolled out a few new features. You can now search for content in the Netflix streaming catalog, which was a badly-needed feature for Netflix fans.
There’s also new flexibility with its “dual view” mode, which lets you watch TV and view the browser at the same time. You can move and resize the picture-in-picture window.
And finally, the Google TV Remote app is now live in Android Market, which lets you control Google TV via your phone with voice commands, among other things. Here’s a demo:
Google TV sales have been sluggish, and Sony and YouTube recently launched a contest to give away 100 TV sets. The major networks, meanwhile, are still blocking video streaming on their websites in the Google TV browser.
