CES: Browse your Facebook photos on TV

As Facebook becomes a powerhouse in photo-sharing — 750 million photos were shared on Facebook over New Years weekend alone — Samsung suggests that perhaps the best place to see them is on your TV set.

“We want people to share photos on larger screen TVs,” said Samsung’s Scott Cohen at CES. “Who wouldn’t want to share their pictures on a 75-inch TV?” Samsung’s Facebook app allows you to browse your latest status updates while you’re watching TV, and then click over to see photos full-screen.

Facebook’s Randi Zuckerberg is making the rounds on the CES floor with a live camera, and she stopped by the massive Samsung booth to show off a demo of the Facebook TV app. The app has been around for awhile, but if you haven’t seen it in action, here’s the clip above (the demo itself is about 2 minutes in).
