Another update: And… they’re back. The new home page remains.
Update: Hmmm. And now Twitter has reverted back to its old design altogether. Here’s a message from @support: “We’re temporarily disabling #NewTwitter. Our engineers are working on re-enabling it. We’ll send an update once the issue is resolved.”

Clean and simple, without the trending topics or the top tweets. Last week, returning Twitter founder Jack Dorsey said his goal is to make the site more approachable. “We have a lot of mainstream awareness, but mainstream relevancy is still a challenge,” he said.
Earlier this week, Twitter added the ability to find suggestions on who to follow based on subject matter.
