Xbox has promised Hulu Plus is coming to Xbox Live this spring, and the video game blog Joystiq has a photo here of it in action in a private beta environment. It’s unclear if it will have any social features tied to Xbox Live (for example, letting us know what our friends are watching), but the app will be Kinect-enabled, along with an updated Netflix app.
At my house, we’re avid Netfilx viewers via the Xbox, and we’re anxiously awaiting Hulu Plus. With the Kinect, we’ll be able to wave our hands and bark commands at the TV set. It’s unclear, however, if we can just yell, “I want my Tina Fey!” and see the latest episode of 30 Rock pop up on the screen. We’ll report back.
