When do TV viewers post on Twitter, Facebook?

TV Guide conducted a survey on how its users engage with social media around TV, and the results may surprise you a bit. “Users said they are more likely to talk about their favorite shows on Twitter and Facebook before and after the show airs rather than during the show,” TV Guide explained. The chart:

Twitter users tend to be a little more active leading up and during TV shows than Facebook users. (It would be interesting to track this against shows — the better the show, the less chatter as it airs?)
