Trendrr recently came out with a list of anticipated new TV shows, which include data from GetGlue and other social networks. GetGlue,which just had a record month of 11.5 million check-ins in August, has also released a list of the most anticipated shows.
Unlike the Trendrr data, Once Upon A Time was in the number two spot behind Fox’s Tera Nova, a show about “an ordinary family on an incredible journey back in time [from the year 2149) to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race.”
More interestingly is that Terra Nova is one of the two shows on the list that does not have a trailer attached to a Coming Soon sticker (Fox’s Alcatraz is the other show). This time-travelling sci-fi is Executive Produced by Steven Spielberg and Peter Chernin has Jurassic Park with a bit of Lost written all over it. While the show currently has 14,000 Facebook likes and 3,410 Twitter followers, they currently have 47,013 check-ins on Glue even though it doesn’t premier until Monday, 9/26 at 8pm Eastern.
ABC holds the majority of shows on the list (5/12).
